Bonded steel-PUR-HDPE pipe systems for district heating, cooling and industrial process networks. One factory in Latvia. EN 253 certified. Diameters from DN 20 to DN 1200. Trusted on networks across Europe, the Middle East and North America — in 13 markets and counting.
Every POLIURS pre-insulated bonded pipe is a sandwich construction of three engineered layers — service pipe, insulation, and outer casing — bonded into one continuous structure. Each layer is available in multiple material specifications to match project requirements.
The inner pipe carries the heat-transfer medium. Carbon steel for standard heating networks; stainless steel for corrosive media, potable circuits, or extended service life. Diameters from DN 20 to DN 1200.
Rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam delivers thermal conductivity λ ≤ 0.029 W/m·K. Available in four insulation series per casing diameter to balance thermal performance against project economics.
Protects insulation from groundwater, mechanical stress, and chemical aggression. HDPE is standard for buried installation; galvanised or stainless steel spiral casing for chamber, above-ground, or aggressive environments.
Two copper wires embedded in the middle of the PUR foam detect moisture ingress and pinpoint fault location throughout the operational lifetime.
Pipes ship with our signature purple protective caps over the open ends. These are removed at site — the cap is for transport only and is not part of the pipe construction.
POLIURS has been producing pre-insulated pipe systems at our facility in Ozolnieki, Latvia since 1995 — where district heating isn't a marketing concept but the reason a town stays warm at minus thirty. We've grown to become the leading pre-insulated pipe manufacturer in the Baltics, with projects delivered across Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Privately owned, with the owners working alongside 137 specialists on the production floor. Steel welding, PE casing extrusion, PUR foaming, bending up to DN 168 — every step done in-house by certified personnel. Every batch traceable. Every product certified.
Our integrated ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems have been audited by Bureau Veritas since 2001, and our pipes are tested annually by RISE Sweden against EN 253, EN 448, EN 489 and EN 15698. We were the first to offer freon-free PUR foam in the Baltic countries, and our facility now runs on 100% renewable electricity.
Since 1995, POLIURS has shipped pre-insulated pipe systems to projects across Europe, the Middle East and North America — from the Latvian factory to networks as far apart as Doha and Greenland. Drag the globe to spin it.
Pipes, fittings, joints and accessories — engineered to work together. From single straight runs to compact valve blocks, every component is dimensioned and certified to the same EN-series standards. In-house bending up to DN 168 and custom fittings on request.
Standard preinsulated steel pipes for district heating mains. Bends, T-pieces, valves, anchors, compensators and reducers — all dimensioned to match.
Flow and return pipes housed under one HDPE casing. Reduced heat loss and excavation footprint — ideal for branch lines and dense urban networks.
Galvanised or stainless spiral steel outer casing for above-ground, chamber installation, mechanically aggressive environments, or routes requiring elevated impact resistance.
Heat-shrink, electro-fusion and mechanical joint systems with integrated alarm-wire continuity. Site-installable to maintain the full performance of the bonded pipe network.
Buried ball valves, fixed anchors, axial compensators and compact valve blocks — all preinsulated to system specification with full thermal continuity.
Surveillance modules, end seals, foam kits, shrink sleeves, and consumables for jointing and commissioning. Everything to complete a network — not just the pipes.
Beyond the EN 253 portfolio, POLIURS engineers special pipe systems for projects most suppliers turn down — high-temperature industrial process, steam and condensate transport, corrosive-media networks, and tight-routing flex applications. If it isn't in the catalogue, ask us.
Two-layer PUR insulation for service to 250 °C. Dedicated condensate-return pipe systems for industrial steam plants, food and pharmaceutical processing, and CHP secondary loops.
Specialty fluid transport for chemical, food and pharmaceutical producers. Stainless-steel service pipe, sanitary connections, full traceability to material certificate.
Pre-formed bends produced at the factory using our in-house bending equipment up to DN 168. Available across all four insulation series. DN 400–700 also manufactured in increased wall thickness for tighter angles.
Cuttable pipes with foil-banded sections every other metre, allowing insulation to be removed cleanly on site for jointing or fittings. Foiled sections clearly marked on the outer casing. Available across all dimensions and series.
Coiled flex pipes with copper or steel media pipes in continuous lengths. House entries, HIU connections and substation tail-ends without intermediate joints — minimising leak points and installation time.
Preinsulated pipes with moulded protector rings along the casing, designed to slide cleanly through closed conduits — under roads, buildings, or existing corrosion-resistant outer pipes. Minimum two protectors per pipe; spacing customised to length.
Preinsulated pipes with an integrated heating cable for anti-freeze protection, low-flow circuits, or emergency frost prevention. Used where service-water flow may stagnate during cold seasons or where precise media-temperature is required.
Non-standard diameters, exotic material combinations, pre-cast chamber valve units, custom anchor and compensator designs — to project drawing. In-house bending up to DN 168.
From municipal heating networks moving water at 140 °C across hundreds of kilometres, to chilled-water cooling rings beneath modern districts, to industrial steam and process lines — the same engineered platform.
Primary and secondary distribution networks for residential, commercial and institutional buildings — connecting CHP plants, biomass facilities and central boiler houses to thousands of consumers per network.
Chilled-water networks for commercial districts, data centres, hospitals and university campuses. Same insulation engineering — re-tuned for low-temperature service and condensation control.
High-temperature process lines, steam distribution, condensate return and specialty fluid transport for chemical, food, pharmaceutical and energy producers — including two-layer insulation for service to 250 °C.
POLIURS quality and environmental management is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 by Bureau Veritas, integrated since 2001. Our pipes are tested by RISE Sweden against EN 253, EN 448, EN 489 and EN 15698 — and we hold FPC certification (CZ/SK) and QB19 from CSTB (France).
Issued by RISE Sweden including EHP 001 regulations. Annual third-party verification against EN 253 functional requirements.
Pipes and joints are warranted for 5 years when installed and operated to the published specifications.
Steel from ArcelorMittal, Marcegaglia, SSAB. PE from Sabic and Lyondell Basell. Polyol Netherlands, isocyanate Germany, cyclopentane France.
Each delivery is accompanied by a quality certificate documenting the production batch, traceable to material certificate and test results.
Send us your route plans, design temperatures and pressure class — we'll come back with a take-off, lead times and a fixed quotation. Average delivery time is 16 days. Technical guidance is included.
